How to Add Persona in Zimbra Email
Do you have an
email alias set up for your primary Zimbra account?
Zimbra's Persona feature allows you to switch from your primary email account to your
email alias more easily.
What is an alias account?
- An email alias is usually created so that email sent to resigned employees can be received by the supervisors or successors.
- ICT-HO may also set up email alias for employees who represent two or more SBUs in their emails.

Zimbra's PERSONA feature
By using Persona, you can assign your desired email address (primary or alias) as FROM address and/or REPLY TO address. All outgoing emails display the details of the selected persona.
To use Zimbra's Persona feature, log in using your primary account and follow the step-by-step guide below.
Step 1: Click Preferences
Step 2: Click Accounts
Step 3: Add Persona
Step 4: Add a descriptive Persona Name
Step 5: Provide your name that will appear as Sender Name
Step 6: Select one of you Alias Emails
Step 7: Click the Save button
Step 8: Reload the browser session and click Compose, you should now have more than one option for a From address / Persona.
