How to Compress Large File Attachments

File attachments for emails have certain limits to prevent over consumption of resource. If you are hit by a limit on files you are trying to send, below are some steps you can take to reduce the file size.


1. Compress local files to Zip

1.1. Select the file(s) and/or folder(s) you want to compress.
1.2. Right-click on the file or folder (or group of files or folders),
1.3. For Windows, point to Send to and select Compressed (zipped) folder.
1.4. For MacOS, select the Compress option. 

1.5. Then a compressed Zip file will be created which you can now send to you recipients.


2. Compress original file format.

1.1. Go to wecompress.com 
1.2. Drag the files you want to compress, you can also upload by clicking the "+" button.

1.3. Once uploaded, wait for it to complete the compression, then download the file.
